I’ve been staring at a blank page for a while now.
Which, for someone with a never ending onslaught of ideas, is saying something.
And I wanted to share some major things with you today.
But this damn blank PAGE is where I am.
And, of course, we know it will happen time and again.
We know the page will seem to mock us in our very identity as artists and messengers and creatives.
And we also know that we’ll have a choice in these moments:
To sit in the discomfort and see what {maybe} comes through…
Or to run from the muse altogether.
Some days I’ve run.
Today I sit.
And while I’ve had some of the deepest medicine and magic moving through me as of late…
It just didn’t want to coalesce onto the page to share with you today.
And you know what?
That’s ok.
Because creativity is a spiral.
Sometimes it’s a summer SZN.
And sometimes it’s everything but.
And the sooner we remember this for ourselves, the more the magic gets to pour through us.
And, the more we will ALLOW the magic to flow.
Nature is not only one thing…
How could our magic be anything different?
And so today I leave you with this inquiry:
If the way your art was showing up today was already inherently and innately perfect, what would you say? What would you create? And what would you allow to be made manifest through, for, and as… you?
